Hands up who knew Rita Ora was up for an Oscar? We bet not many of you...

It's a secret that the 24-year-old songstress hasn't actually made a song [sorry!] and dance about but, as we're sure you'll agree, it's a pretty HUGE deal.

The fact is Rita provided the vocals to the Best Original Song-nominated 'Grateful'; the theme song to the film Beyond The Lights and although the ballad's writer Diane Warren didn't scoop up the gong on she and Rita's behalf, our April cover star still totally owned the evening with her performance.

Taking to the stage in front of Hollywood's biggest and most-prolific names, Rita's rendition of the song blew the audience away; check it out for yourselves in the video above.

Of course, Rita made sure she looked epic doing it.

After switching out of her red carpet look — a navy Marchesa duchess satin gown complete with stunning gold embroidery — she went all out glam for her on-stage performance in a old-school monochrome, custom-made Vera Wang gown which she styled with over-the-elbow leather opera gloves, Christian Louboutin heels and Bulgari jewels. In short; kerching!

Then, just when we thought this girl couldn't go through any more wardrobe changes, she turned up at the star-studded after-party in the most revealing dress of the night.

The Donna Karan creation had a full black panel to the front which, thankfully, covered up her modesty. However, it's the back of the dress that we NEED to talk about...

Now THIS is what we call revealing! Featuring a completely sheer back, albeit from her strategically-placed cascading train, this has to be the most jaw-dropping look of the Oscars 2015. To be sure, you may just want to compare it with this lot...

Congrats on your uh-mazing performance Rita; you nailed it!
