Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed her Iron Man 2 fitness and diet secrets in her GOOP newsletter, entitled The Making of Pepper Potts.

And, we're sorry to be the bearers of bad news, but it ain't a walk in the park!

Gwyneth stuck to a strict 5-day diet, and her daily schedule included:

7am: Kick off the day with a cup of green tea.

Breakfast: A shake including 1 cup of almond milk, a handful of blueberries and couple of scoops of nourishing powder from Dr. Alejandro Junger.

8.30am: An hour-and-a-half workout developed by trainer Tracy Anderson.

Post-workout: A cup of kale juice (sounds delish).

1pm lunch: Choose from a selection of healthy veg-oriented wraps.

Afternoon snack: Handful of almonds or kale juice.

Dinner: Chopped veggie salad or Turkey kale soup.

Gwyneth says of the routine: 'This regime got me into the shape of my life and I continue to return to it when I have a specific event — so that I can do ridiculous things like be a 37-year-old mother of two and wear shorts!'

So, not for the faint-hearted, but obviously effective!
