Kate Middleton and Prince William have reportedly settled in well to their latest role as doting parents after the birth of their son, Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, just a few weeks ago.

However, following on from such a joyous event William has reportedly enlisted help from the Queen’s jewelers to help design and create a bespoke brooch with dazzling pink diamond for the Duchess of Cambridge.
According to sources the brooch will be set in an engraved gold medallion that once belonged to Princess Diana - a gift from Prince Charles.
The fine uncut pink diamond will additionally be gifted from the Queen’s personal gem collection holding particular significance as it was in fact a wedding gift to HRH from an ‘esteemed Canadian geologist’.
A source close to Prince William has revealed, "William has been giving this a lot of thought for a long time.

"He's got lots of ideas from studying history of art at university and decided on a pink diamond as a centerpiece because it is pretty and feminine. It will be a thank you present to Kate."
