Speaking at his second public engagement since the birth of Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, Prince William gave a glimpse into life as a new father, as well as announcing George’s first possible Royal trip abroad.
The doting dad prepared a speech for the crowds at the Anglesey Show, where as well as thanking the community for the warm welcome they showed himself and his wife Kate Middleton, he revealed that son Prince George “is lovely. There have been a few sleepless nights but he's sleeping much better now."
Meeting with an Australian couple at the event, the doting dad added that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge “are all very hopeful of coming to Australia next year.”
If the new Royal family does make the trip Down Under, they’ll be following in the footsteps of William’s first Royal trip abroad, as he visited Australia and New Zealand in 1983 with his mum Princess Diana, at the age of just nine months.
Kate Middleton, Prince William and baby George are now ready to move to Kensington Palace in London, after leaving their Anglesey home for good. Kate and Wills have been staying with Kate’s parents Carole and Micheal Middleton in Bucklebury, Berkshire since Prince George’s birth on 22 July 2013.
