Prince George's first official royal duty took place at a toddlers' group in New Zealand
Prince George has carried out his first official royal duty with his mum Kate Middleton– a meet and greet with ten other New Zealand toddlers who were all born within two weeks of the royal baby.
Prince George most likely won't remember this landmark moment – which may be just as well as he spent more time playing with his mum's, hair. Well, we wouldn't be able to keep our hands of that glossy mane, either.
The Duchess beamed as she held eight-month-old George at the toddlers' play date, and chatted with other parents. Kate wore a short-sleeved monochrome dress from the Tory Burch Resort collection for the occasion, chosen as it matches the colours of New Zealand. Meanwhile, Prince George was dressed in a very cute pair of dungarees by Rachel Riley.
Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal tour duties will crank up a notch tomorrow, with the couple flying south of the island to a wreath laying, followed by an exhibition visit and then a State Reception in the evening.
