It’s the Hollywood adaptation we’ve all been waiting for and last night The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo landed in London.
WATCH OUR INTERVIEW WITH ROONEY MARA HERE
Leading lady Rooney Mara looked positively other-wordly in her winter white Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Couture gown, perfectly contrasting her shiny black crop hairstyle.
The actress, who plays troubled hack Lisbeth Salander in the film series was joined by her co-star, the gorgeous Daniel Craig, who, unlike Rooney, was not prepared to brave the cold for fashion (that explains why he’s holding the actress so tight!), zipping up in an overcoat atop his charcoal suit and silver tie.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has been adapted from Stieg Larsson’s posthumous novels, The Millennium Series. The Swedish version of the film, which came out in 2009, stars Noomi Rapace as Salander. We seriously cannot wait to see how Rooney, who has previously starred in The Social Network, tackles the tricky role. We bet it’s a performance we won’t soon forget.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is in cinemas nationwide on 26 December.
