The Duchess of Cambridge carried out what was her third ever royal engagement with the Queen today, as they headed to Baker Street station to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the London Underground.

Along with Prince Philip, the ladies were given a tour of the station and introduced to staff before viewing a restored 1892 underground coach, followed by a brand new S7 train.
Kate Middleton debuted another smart coat for the occasion, this time a teal fit-and-flare collarless Malene Birger number with beaded black trim. She paired it with a black hat, suede heels and matching gloves.

Before heading onto a tube - which bared Buckingham Palace as its destination to mark the royal visit - Kate was given a 'Baby on board!' badge, which she promised to wear at home.
