National Portrait Gallery
Currently taking lots of rest after announcing her pregnancy, Kate Middleton made her first public appearance of 2013 today, as she stepped out with Prince William to see her new portrait up close at the National Portrait Gallery.
The Royal couple visited the painting, by acclaimed artist Paul Emsley, this morning in a private viewing before it is unveiled to the public this afternoon. They then spent time meeting Paul as well as his wife Susanne and daughter Marie.
Kate was clearly chuffed with the likeness, gushing: "It's just amazing, I thought it was brilliant." While her husband added: "It's beautiful, it's absolutely beautiful."
Scoring yet another maternity style hit, Kate donned a plunging burgundy Whistles dress for the occasion, featuring full sleeves and floaty skirt.
We can't wait for our next dose of Kate's pregnancy style.
