Beyond Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Robert Pattinson is lining up new film roles including Cosmopolis
Eager to move on from his Twilight Edward Cullen role, Robert Pattinson has landed the lead in Cosmopolis - the new movie from Crash director David Cronenberg.
Based on the Don DeLillo novel of the same name, R-Patz is set to play Eric Packer, a billionaire asset manager who makes an epic journey across midtown Manhattan in order to get a haircut. Set over the course of one day, Cosmopolis charts the twists and turns of the hero's fate, including random chance encounters, assassination attempts and stock market losses.
Marion Cotillard had been cast to play Eric Packer's wife, however as the actress recently announced her pregnancy, it's now believed that Keira Knightley could be taking on the role.
And just to tease us all a little more, there's been talk in the industry that Robert is interested in portraying the iconic singer Jeff Buckley in a planned biopic of his life. Other actors being considered for the role include 127 Hours star James Franco.
Recently Robert's been spotted filming his new movie Water For Elephants alongside co-star Reese Witherspoon.
