Christina Aguilera's new album - Bionic

Christina Aguilera, Bionic

Christina Aguilera channels the Terminator in the cover art for her new album, Bionic.

Looking super-cool - and very Arnold Scwarzenegger - the singer is pictured with one half of her face in doll-like perfection, with the other removed to show a robotic cheek.

The new album Bionic - set for an 8 June release - features songs co-written by Christina, along with collaborations from with Sia, Tricky Stewart, Le Tigre, and Ladytron.

There's also a ballad produced and written by Three Non-Blondes star Linda Perry, called Lift Me Up.

Christina says of her new release: 'Working on this album with so many talented artists and producers that I admire was really an amazing experience.

'The artists I chose to work with added so many unique sonic layers to Bionic. My intention was to step into their world and what they do combined with my own vision and sound. The results were magic.'

And the cover art is super-cool, too.
