Simon Cowell turned 50 this weekend – and celebrated with an all-singing, all-dancing, all-star party.
And there was no holding back in this party of excess. There were half-naked dancing girls, magnums of Louis Roederer Champagne, shark tanks in the loos and retro canapés like smoked salmon triangles, slices of margherita pizza and prawn cocktails.
Guests arriving at Wrotham Park in Barnet, Hertfordshire, were greeted with an enormous image of Simon projected 60ft high across the Palladian frontage.
In the unisex loos, a video film ran on a continuous loop with various A-listers singing Simon Cowell's praises and wishing him a Happy Birthday. David and Victoria Beckham and Oprah Winfrey were among the stars paying tribute
Cheryl Cole – who opted for an 80s perm hairdo and an emerald Versace A/W 09 dress – sat top table with Simon, his mother Julie, Naomi Campbell and, among others, Sir Philip Green and his wife Tina, who organised the lavish bash.
Other guests included David Walliams, Kevin Spacey, Gordon Ramsay and wife Tana, Katie Price and Myleene Klass.
Some guests even traveled from America, including Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and Ryan Seacrest.
Entertainment at the party came from the likes of Westlife, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke and Earth, Wind & Fire.
All in all, it sounds like it was a riotous night!
