Newly released teen model pics of Angelina Jolie are about to be auctioned later this month.
Angelina was only 15 years old when these stunning photographs were shot, but her goddess-like features and confidence already defines the theme of the photo series.
Photographer Harry Langdon, who took these early pictures, said that, even then, Angelina showed signs of a magnetic persona and an awareness of her own look. 'Her smile is beautiful, but her best feature is her alluring look,' he said.
Today, Angelina, who is currently shooting the film The Tourist with Johnny Depp, is probably one of the most admired women ever, but even at 15 she was über-adorable, showing off her trademark characteristics, her pouty lips and feline eyes, posing in animal print and nature-inspired outfits.
The black and white photographs, which start from $600 (£375), are part of the multimillion dollar Michael H Epstein and Scott E Schwimer collection, consisting of thousands of pieces of Hollywood’s most excellent fine art, including rare photographs of Ava Gardner, Bette Davis, Halle Berry and many more.
But it is a portrait of Jean Harlow on a white bearskin rug, offered with the original camera negative and a custom print that is estimated to sell for well over $20,000 (£12,500).
The photographs are going to be auctioned by Profiles in History on 26 and 27 March, 2010.
