Stars wowed in glam frocks and chic suits for the annual Keep a Child Alive ball in New York

Hollywood actress Halle Berry, supermodel Iman and singers Alicia Keys and Kerry Washington were among the glittering stars at the annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball in New York City.

The annual star-studded event included an evening of cocktails, dinner, performances and exquisite dresses to benefit children and families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.

The glitzy bash was hosted by several gorgeous ladies including Alicia Keys who  performed a duet of Ain't No Sunshine with John Mayer, Padma Lakshmi and Iman, who stunned in a black sequined belted one-shouldered dress and sleek bob.

Halle Berry stole the show in an attention-grabbing black sequin cut-out dress by Kaufman Franco and towering Christian Louboutin heels and was accompanied by boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

R&B star, Usher, added a touch of male glamour to the event looking ever-so-stylish in a classic black tux and bow tie.

Nick Cannon, Mary J Blige, Estelle and Queen Latifah were also there to honour former President Bill Clinton, Sir Richard Branson and African Ambassador Youssou N'Dour for their humanitarian work.
