When David Beckham invited us to a poolside cocktail party to celebrate the debut launch of his swimwear collection for H&M, it didn't take us long to RSVP with a big YES!
With the sun shining, champagne flowing and giant posters of Sir Beckham modelling his collection strung above the pool on the roof top of Shoreditch House, we knew we were in for a fun night.
Eliza Doolittle and Foxes were the best of gal pals laughing whilst posing for the paps. 'I've only see David from across the room but now I want a proper perve, Eliza told us. Dressed in vintage Alaia, Puma trainers and a Supreme hat, the singer explained she's writing her next album at the moment and prepping for her Glastonbury performance. 'Apart from baby wipes my festival essential is someone to cuddle and watch all the bands with. David would be ideal,' she laughed.
Elsewhere, One Directioner Liam Payne was hanging out poolside. Next to a giant poster of Becks in his collection, naturally the conversation turned to pants. 'I've actually got a huge collection because when we're on tour we don't have a washing machine so I end up buying loads. But I'm not going to lie, I occasionally might have worn the same pair twice. What can I say, we're on tour - anything goes!'
So what pair from the collection can we expect to see him flaunting beachside this summer? 'Definitely the blue shorts and not the white pants,' he laughed.
We won't be seeing Nick Grimshaw rocking those white pants either. 'No way!' he told to us. 'Only David can pull those off. He's the best specimen of man. He's what we all want to look like.'
We also spotted Aaron Paul, Niall Horan and Ellie Goulding taking selfies with David whilst Jasmine Guinness let us in on a little secret: 'I've got my eye on the blue version. I like wearing men's shorts swimming. They're flattering but not very good for tan lines,' she chuckled. Of course, we couldn't leave without taking our own photo of Mr.Beckham. The definition of polite, he laughed whilst our iPhone froze before patiently waiting for it to restart. Now our crush is stronger than ever...
