Gwyneth Paltrow will make a welcome return to the Oscars stage this year, but this time it won’t be to make a teary acceptance speech. The actress will show off her vocal stylings with a performance of “Coming Home” from her latest film, Country Strong. In the movie, which co-stars Gossip Girl Leighton Meester, Paltrow plays a fallen country music star who becomes romantically involved with a rising songwriter.

This won’t be Gwynnie’s first live performance – she sang at the Country Music Awards back in November and will hit the stage at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards, where heavyweight crooners Barbra Streisand, Mick Jagger, Rihanna and Eminem will also be headlining.
Paltrow, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, is fast making a name for herself in the music industry, having performed in films like Duets and Infamous and most recently in Glee. Her turn in the hit TV show was so popular, she will be reprising her role as Holly Holliday in March.
