Oceans 8 cast

The cast is...

Oceans Eight just upped its game, if the latest cast rumours are to be believed. I mean, if it’s a choice between Brad Pitt and Helena Bonham Carter, the English eccentric in us is more than a little bit excited to see Helena take on Willy Bank.

Oceans Eight is the latest Hollywood reboot to feature an all-female leading cast, following on from this summer’s Ghostbusters remake (which went on to become the most disliked trailer on YouTube of all time… yawn). Sexism aside, the rumoured Oceans Eight cast is seriously exciting – get to grips with who’s confirmed so far below.

Oceans Eight Cast

Confirmed names include…

Sandra Bullock, who isn’t shy of an action film after The Heat, Miss Congeniality and the emotionally intense Gravity.

Cate Blanchett, who slays everything she does.

Rumoured names include…

Rihanna! The one and only. This isn’t the first time she’s been on the silver screen, after Battleship and Annie.

Anne Hathaway, an Oscar winner who isn’t known for her action roles…

Helena Bonham Carter, whose Oceans Eight costume we will 100% be replicating.

Mindy Kaling, no doubt bringing the comedy to Oceans Eight.

Awkwafina, the Asian-American rapper (real name, Nora Lum) who recently starred in Neighbours 2.

This list is still one cast member short of the ‘eight’ in the title, so watch this space.
