Earlier this year my-wardrobe.com sold out almost instantly of Nicole Richie's House of Harlow 1960 jewellery collection. So when they announced they'd taken stock of La Richie's fashion range, Winter Kate, we were just dying to check out the designs.
The name Winter Kate uses Richie's daugher Harlow's middle name. And the line is a fest of maxi dresses and luxurious casuals as you would expect from the queen of boho luxe herself. There are lace jackets. tunic tops and delicate chiffon with a smattering of ethnic prints and gorgeous embellished details. The pieces look great layered up or worn individually as statement pieces.
Speaking about the collection, Nicole said: 'Fashion should be accessible. That was my philosophy when designing House of Harlow 1960 and it remains my philosophy for Winter Kate. I started working on this collection in early 2009, the pieces can be dressed up, made casual but most importantly, they provide the wearer a means of self-expression and fun.'
As Nicole is clearly as much a shoe festishest as the rest of us, there's a to-die-for selection of footwear as part of the range. There are flats, moccasins and our favourite, these mushroom-coloured snakeskin peep-toe heels.
Sarah Curran, founder of my-wardrobe.com comments: 'Nicole Richie has long been an emerging style muse. As fans of her renowned, individual look we are thrilled to be hosting the debut collection. With jewellery, footwear and now clothing under her belt, we cannot wait to see what she comes up with next'
We couldn't agree more…
