NEW: Friends reunite for film

Stars of the hit sitcom Friends are finally making a movie together

Our favourite New Yorkers, Rachel, Ross, Joey, Monica, Chandler and Phoebe, are reuniting to make a highly anticipated film of their hit TV show.

The six main stars have agreed to do a Friends film following the success of other small-screen to big-screen adaptations such as Sex and The City.

According to the Daily Mail Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and the rest of the cast are ‘keen to reprise their roles, under the right circumstances'.

'The box office success of Sex and the City has really got their wheels spinning about how a Friends film could be just as big, if done right.'

Cast members Jennifer Aniston, 40, Courteney Cox Arquette, 45, Matthew Perry, 40, Matt LeBlanc, 42, David Schwimmer, 42 and Lisa Kudrow, 46 will reprise their roles on the same set for the first time since the show ended in 2004.

The show's original creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman have also been drafted in and are said to be writing and producing the film.

In other Friends news, a pop-up version of the famous Central Perk café has opened in London to celebrate the sitcom's 15th anniversary.

Fans can visit the café on Soho's Broadwick Street and relieve memories of the ten series.

As well as a special Friends DVD box-set being on sale, there are also other bits of memorabilia from the show on display in the coffee shop, including Rachel's wedding dress from the first episode, Joey and Chandler's ‘best bud' bracelets, the Gellar Cup and Brown Bird Cookies.

We just can't get enough.
