Who will be the new Bake Off presenters?
New Bake Off presenters? It’s almost impossible to imagine The Great British Bake Off without Mel and Sue cracking dirty cake-related puns, comforting contestants as they break down over bread week, or starting the show with that choral ‘on your marks, get set, baaaaake’, but we’re going to have to get used to life post-Mel and Sue.
With a move from the BBC to Channel 4 confirmed (and almost unanimously condemned on Twitter), Mel and Sue announced that they wouldn’t be ‘going with the dough’ and would be stepping down from their roles. Heart. Broken.

Channel 4 favourite Richard Ayoade has recently become a firm favorite to front the show, and we have to say, we don't hate the idea. His dry wit and tweed suit are perfect for Bake Off.

Claire, who’s currently in Rio presenting Channel 4’s Paralympics coverage, is the favourite to take the job, with odds at 7/1 (at William Hill), but is she funny enough to follow Mel and Sue?
Jo presents The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice on BBC Two, and is currently at 8/1 to land the job. She’s definitely put in the time…
Jamie is no stranger to talking food on TV, but could he do Bake Off justice? His odds are at 10/1, although we’re not sure how he’d handle all the sugar in that tent.

Yes, really. Jennifer’s odds are currently at 10/1, but we’d love to see Joanna Lumley glam up the tent for a Bake Off celebrity special.
Even though we suspect Claudia won’t be jumping ship from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing any time soon, her odds are at 14/1.
She’s due to be a judge on Junior Bake Off this November, but Nadiya has ruled herself out of the running for The Great British Bake Off 2016 by signing a contract with the BBC, making the channel her 'home'.
Other names in the mix include Sandi Toksvig (12/1), James Martin (14/1), Davina McCall (16/1), Ed Byrne (16/1), Sarah Millican (16/1), Emma Willis (20/1), Johnny Vegas (20/1) and more, but who do you want to see take the title? Cast your vote below!
