Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have been pictured together for the first time since announcing their separation last week.
Keeping things incredibly amicable in New York, the pair, who have been married for three years, enjoyed a family day out with their two-year-old son, Flynn.
The 30-year-old Australian model and 36-year-old British actor have been living together in the Big Apple while Orlando stars in the Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet.
Now, putting on a united front during a trip to Central Park, the couple clearly aren’t planning to let their six-year relationship go to waste.
Photographers even captured the moment Orlando stopped to peck Miranda on the cheek in public.
Speaking publicly for the first time since their split, Orlando told TMZ: “We’re not friends, we’re family.
“Life is a mystery, it doesn’t always work out the way you want it.”
While the former Victoria’s Secret Angel has yet to comment on the break-up, a joint statement released by the couple said: “Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.”
The joint day trip comes some five weeks after the duo were last seen in public together. Joining Orlando and at the opening night of Romeo and Juliet Miranda said at the time: “I was blown away. For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week – I have so much respect for him.”
So far so good, we wish them both the best of luck.
