The recently-separated parents prove exes can be amicable on a family day out in New York

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are keeping things ultra-friendly after announcing their split just days ago, stepping out together as an affectionate little family in New York for the second day in a row.

Obviously at ease with each other, the pair, who confirmed plans to divorce after three years of marriage, were pictured on another cosy stroll in the city with their two-year-old son Flynn yesterday.

Spotted out the day before looking happier than ever, it seems this break-up may have done the Australian model and British actor a world of good as this week the two have been pictured together twice for the first time in almost six weeks.

Smiling side-by-side, the couple looked to be keeping things amicable as the family laughed and embraced their way through the day in Central Park.

With Flynn clutching onto his dad, and Orlando putting his arm around Miranda, these three look a million miles away from separation – but sadly, a spokesperson for the couple confirmed the news last week: 'Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation.'

'Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.'

Orlando went on to tell TMZ: 'We’re not friends, we’re family. Life is a mystery, it doesn’t always work out the way you want it.'

It may be the end for this beautiful power couple as husband and wife but it looks like they're putting their parenting first. We're glad to see it, guys.
