Marc Jacbos has designed some of the looks for Miley's tour
Miley Cyrus and Marc Jacobs are as thick as thieves at the moment. First Mr Jacobs cast Miley in his moody Spring/Summer 2014 campaign, and now the singer has enlisted him to design her tour outfits.
The 21-year-old is about to kick off her Bangerz tour, which will begin in Vancouver, Canada, on February 14 before heading on to Europe.
And, this being Miley Cyrus, it's sure to be one helluva show. For each different section of the concert, Miley has secured a different designer to create her outfit. As well as Marc Jacobs, Miley's (no-doubt amazing) tour wardrobe will also be consist of looks from Jeremy Scott (known for his playful, colourful clothes and witty slogans) and archive pieces from Bob Mackie.
But just because she's got some high profile designers on board, it doesn't necessarily mean the star will be fully dressed.
'Clothes for me, or lack thereof, say a lot,' Miley Cyrus joked to the Hollywood Reporter.
Other things to expect from the tour include: a wide-ranging set list, with acoustic numbers, that has no set time limit; cartoon animals created by Ren and Stimpy illustrator John Kricfalusi; and lots of free goodies for fans to collect that Miley charminly describes as 'junk'.
But, despite all the gimmicks, Miley wants the focus to still be on the songs.
'I want people to walk away saying, 'OK she did some things that were crazy, but at the end of the day, it was really about her voice.'
