She grew up in the model village of Bournville, read English at Oxford, took to the stage at the Donmar and kicked off her career starrring on Radio 4’s The Archers. Since then she's starred in films including Like Crazy and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 but it's her role as Stephen Hawking's wife Jane in the brilliant The Theory Of Everything that is really putting Felicity Jones name on the Hollywood map. Check out below what the BAFTA nominated actress told us when she made her cover debut for our March issue...
On being labelled a 'New Actress':
'How long can I be up and coming? I've been breaking for 20 years. I feel like this is it. No more breaking through. I'm here.'
On her on-screen chemistry with Eddie Redmayne:
'We have very similar ways of working. We both like to have lots of preparation, so a lot of it was just being in a rehearsal space in London and making mistakes and trying things out, and earning each other's trust.'
On dealing with stardom:
'I'm completely anonymous in most places. I think, also, it's a mental switch. If you walk around expecting people to notice and you put out a certain feeling, then you'll get it in return.'
