Matt LeBlanc back on TV
Former Friends star Matt Le Blanc is set to star as himself in a new BBC comedy – a send-up of the television industry.
The 42-year-old star will appear in a six-part series called Episodes next year on BBC2.
Friends co-creator David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik penned the show about an unsuspecting British couple who try to recreate their UK comedy hit for American TV, with distastrous - yet (hopefully) hilarious - results.
Le Blanc – who played the useless but lovable Joey in Friends - said of the role: ‘I am also so glad I got the part; seeing someone else playing Matt LeBlanc would have been devastating.’
