X Factor judge Simon Cowell has his eye on pop queen Madonna as well as a list of other top celebrities, including Robbie Williams, Rihanna and the new quirky chart sensation Lady GaGa, to perform on the ITV1 talent show this season.
The celebrity guest appearances could mean specific artist-themed nights, similar to Britney Spears's comeback on last year's X Factor show, which drew in an amazing 13 million viewers. Meanwhile, diva Beyoncé, who will be performing at the O2 arena in November, is being tipped for a reprisal of last year's smash hit final which saw her perform a duet with winner Alexandra Burke.
Show host Dermot O'Leary has also revealed that Britain's Got Talent runner-up, Susan Boyle, will also be performing a duet.
With a new budget of £6 million, this season is set to be explosive. A source revealed: "This year is going to be bigger than ever - we are planning to get the best names in music. Madonna and Robbie would be sensational."
We can't wait!
The new season of the show returns on 22 August.
