Madonna Looks To Taylor Swift For Inspiration For Her New Music Video

There are some striking resemblances between Madonna's new video and Taylor Swift's Bad Blood

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so Taylor Swift must be feeling pretty good about herself after seeing the teaser for Madonna’s latest music video.

Because anyone with a working pair of eyes will notice that there are blaring, undeniable similarities between Madonna’s video for her new single Bitch I’m Madonna and Taylor’s epic Bad Blood effort.

First up, let’s look at the promo images for each. Both Madge and Tay decided to create Noir-ish movie posters for their respective videos, opting to depict their chosen cast and pictures in a black, grey and red palette.

And if this were a game of Top Trumps, then we think Madonna might have just inched it with her fierce cast of female characters. While Taylor enlisted the help of her army of BFFs, including the likes of Karlie Kloss, Gig Hadid and Lena Dunham, to star in Bad Blood, Madonna has called on arguably the greatest names in the game right now for her offering, with her movie boasting the talents of Beyonce, Rita Ora, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj. Well, if you’re going to copy someone’s idea, you’re going to have to make it better.

To date, Taylor’s vid has had upwards of 208 MILLION views on Youtube. The full Bitch I’m Madonna movie will be released later today, so let’s see if Madge can match Tay’s figures – and bag herself that hit single.
