The Venice Film Festival just got a whole lot more interesting now that Madonna’s arrived. The singer-turned-director hit the red carpet in her signature show-stopping style last night for the premiere of her directorial film, W.E., in a sweeping satin gown by Vionnet printed with red butterflies. She accessorised with a pair of glittering Miu Miu sunglasses to really make a statement.
Madge reunited with her leading ladies on the red carpet, including Andrea Riseborough, the British starlet who plays Wallis Simpson in the film about the romance between the American divorcee and King Edward VIII, Natalie Dormer and Abbie Cornish.
Elsewhere on the carpet, Kate Winslet flaunted her killer curves in a divine number designed by Victoria Beckham at the Carnage premiere.
Stay tuned for more action from the Venice Film Festival!
