Lupita Nyong'o cemented her place as a bonfide Hollywood star last night, as she took to the Baftas 2014 red carpet in a stunning Christian Dior dress.
The emerald green strapless gown with metal belt was our standout look of the evening – beaten only perhaps by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's matching tuxedos.
As the 30-year-old actress began to feel the chill of London's February air, she covered up in a cut-out tuxedo jacket which she wore to a Baftas after party at the London Edition hotel. And her plus one for the evening was her mum, Dorothy, which makes us love Lupita even more.
The 12 Years A Slave actress has been the clear sartorial winner on the awards season circuit this year, even if she hasn't always taken home the gongs. Lupita once again lost out on the Best Supporting Actress award to Jennifer Lawrence, who was notably absent from the awards ceremony.
There's going to be some tough competition on this year's Oscars red carpet, that's for sure.
