The singer admitted she can't find the dress, which cost in the region of £200,000
There's forgetful, and there's down right irresponsible. And we can't help but feel Lily Allen might fall into the latter camp, when she revealed that she doesn't know where her Chanel Couture wedding dress is.
The singer made the admission on 4Music's Rock the Look with Rimmel London to host and longtime pal, Miquita Oliver.
Asked what the most expensive item in her wardrobe is by a member of the public, Lily Allen replied: 'There's two bits to this.'
'One is that it's not in my wardrobe, it's missing. And two, it's my Chanel Couture wedding dress that's worth about £200,000,' the singer sheepishly said.
Miquita looks incredulous as she asks 'How could that go missing?
'It's gone. I don't know where it is,' Lily replied.
Lily Allen wore the couture gown, created for her by friend Karl Lagerfeld, to the reception of her wedding to Sam Cooper in 2011. For the ceremony, she wore a white lace dress by Delphine Manivet. Whether or not she knows where that dress is, we don't know. But, at the cost of a house, we think Lils should have another look for that Chanel number. Perhaps it's behind the fridge…
