Lea Michele is set to make headlines next year as the Glee actress and singer launches her solo music career. But thankfully, you won't have to wait until May to see a sneak peek of what's in store, as Lea has kindly shared a few intimate snaps from her debut sic video shoot… and they're pretty incredible.
Though we can't quite make out Lea's wardrobe choices for the shoot, we are loving her signature smoky eyes, which were no doubt created with L'Oreal products, as the actress continues to support the beauty brand as a global ambassador.
Gone is the shy and timid Rachel Berry as a sexy Lea smoulders in the video shoot, saying goodbye once and for all to her high school character for the final ever series.
The star has been at the centre of much speculation in recent weeks as rumours of a Glee spin-off series focussing on Lea's character began to circulate in Hollywood circles. But FOX quickly stopped this story in its tracks, telling the LA Times last week that there was 'no truth' in the rumour.
Lea's racy new look comes after what's been a tough year for the star as she comes to terms with the death of her co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith, who was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver following an alcohol and heroin overdose in July. And just as we expected, Lea will be paying tribute to her late love on her debut solo album, due for release in May 2014.
She revealed in an interview this week that a track dedicated to Cory entitled 'You're Mine' will feature on the album, explaining: 'The album was done, and the label said, "Do you want to add anything?" I was like, "I might regret it if I don't". It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this.'
Taking to Twitter to share a few sneaky pictures from the set last night, Lea said: 'SO EXCITED SHOOTING MY VERY FIRST MUSIC VIDEO TODAY FOR THE FIRST ALBUM SINGLE!'. She followed her message with a thank you tweet to her team with the hash tag '#dreamcometrue'.
Cory would be so proud. Good luck, Lea...
