Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan in The Great Gatsby
Following the footsteps of Adele, it seems Lady Gaga is set to the latest star to lend her vocals to a film, as word has it she'll be featuring on the soundtrack for in Baz Lurhmann's The Great Gatsby.
We've already heard the heavy-bass tones of Kanye West and Jay Z sampled in the film's trailer, and with the flick's release set back until next May, there's clearly been plenty of time to gather a killer line-up of vocal acts.
Adelaide Clemens, who plays Catherine in the film revealed: "Some pretty huge artists have approached Baz and are writing songs for the film." She continued: "And I don't think Warner Brothers are going to turn down Prince and Lady Gaga knocking down your door."
Will it be a big ballad, an upbeat number? We can't wait to see what Gaga will have in store for the '20s-tastic production.
