Lady Gaga opened this year's iTunes festival in London with an hour-long set of completely new material from her upcoming new album ArtPop.
After having to cut short her Born This Way Ball tour earlier this year due to a broken hip, the singer has been looking forward to getting back on the stage.
“To say that I’ve missed you, it’s a bit of an understatement”, Gaga told fans at her gig at London’s Roundhouse.
Among her legion of supporters was fellow singer Adele - taking a rare night out without new baby Angelo - and One Direction’s Niall Horan.
Keener than ever to bring together art and music, Gaga has been seen out and about in a variety of interesting looks lately – as only she knows how - and she encouraged her fans to do the same for her concert.
Taking to Twitter before the show Gaga announced a dresscode for her fans, citing appropriate attire as “Trashbag or artclothes”. The singer helpfully explained that “Artclothes are clothes you don’t mind getting covered in live art!” We're not sure whether anyone came out covered in paint, but it sounds like Gaga's new tracks went down very well with her fanbase.
