While the buzz around Paris Fashion Week ordinarily surrounds the staging of Karl Lagerfeld's latest collection, this season talk has been firmly fixated on how Lady Gaga will tackle her catwalk debut at Mugler, and last night all was revealed...
Upstaging the seasoned models, the 5' 1" songtress had been given a little boost courtesy of some ten inch-plus mega platforms, and made a storming entrance to the pumping sounds of her never-before-heard single, "Government Hooker".
The show was staged amid eaves, blasted with smoke, that set the scene for a ghostly parade of looks donned by models with otherwordly make-up and hair.
Lady Gaga was of course the most provocative of the lot, with her hair in bunches that swung around her waist, and ghoulish black eyes.
Her looks were hand-picked by her personal stylist, and the brand's recently appointed creative director, Nicola Formichetti, the first being a sheer and leather outfit, before she danced her second turn swathed in a cream corset dress with billowing skirt.
It certainly went down well with the front row, who rushed backstage post-show to congratulate man of the night, Formichetti, and the his leading lady!
