Finally, after a couple of teasing shots, we have the pictures of Kim Kardashian's Givenchy wedding dress in all its lacy glory – and we're surprised by just how much we like it.
The reality TV star could have gone down many sartorial routes for her big day, but it appears she chose the most understated of them all. Well, apart from that giant train – but we can't expect Kim to totally avoid something OTT, right?
'I actually think the dress is really pretty, which I am surprised about!' says InStyle's Feaures Editor, Hannah. 'I Love the use of lace and the shape of the bodice is really unusual.'
'It couldn’t have been a bigger contrast to the frou-frou strapless Vera Wang number she wore for her marriage to Chris Humphries in 2011,' says Senior Features Writer Lucy. 'Modern and cool but still sticking to the old Law of Kardashian – accentuate that teeny tiny waist. Well played Kim (and team Givenchy).'
And Features Assistant Chloe agrees, too: 'You can't really go wrong with a Givenchy Haute Couture dress can you? Thank the fashion lord, Kim Kardashian opted for Riccardo Tisci's custom creation. Elegant and demure are not two words I thought I'd be using to describe KK's wedding dress, but with it's long length lace sleeves and high neck line it's almost understated. Well for a Kardashian that is!
It looks like a unanimous thumbs up from the InStyle team. What do you think of Kim's dress? Let us know...
