The shot that sealed the deal...
Kim Kardashian may already be a reality TV star, a full-time stylist and mother to baby North, an app-developer and a clothing designer but she can now add another very prestigious title to her ten-page long C.V as Instagram has revealed that her photo-account received more action than any other during 2014.
As if being the world's most famous woman wasn't enough, KK can now officially call herself the undisputed Queen of Instagram. Boy; we bet she'll LOVE that...
Unsurprisingly, there is one image on Kim's camera roll that boosted her to the top spot; the shot taken of her first kiss with hubby Kanye West after they said 'I do' back in May.
The shot, which shows the pair sharing a kiss just after reading their vows in front of a fresh floral backdrop, was the most 'liked' image of the year and that has EVER been uploaded in the iconic apps four-year history. Ok, that's quite the achievement.
Receiving over 2.4 MILLION likes after being posted by Kim a couple of days after the ceremony took place, the 34-year-old starlet cleared the second-place post — a selfie posted by Justin Bieber with on-off girlfriend Selena Gomez — by a safe 500,000 likes. Better luck next year, Beebs...
Whether she's globe-trotting, on the FROW or spending time at home with her family, Kim is never far from her Instagram account, posting to it several times a day. So, yes; it seems fitting that she should be awarded the Insta-crown after all of the ground work she's put in.
And it looks like she's not the only member of the Kardashian Klan looking to take over the social media platform.
There have been whispers that her one-year-old daughter North West is set to have her own Instagram account and will follow in her mother's outfit-posting footsteps.
Apparently it's Kim's rapper-husband Kanye who's come up with the idea and, to be fair, we'd probably follow her.
While congratulations are in order for Kim, we wonder if she can hold on to the title next year. Who knows; if Kanye gets his way, it might come down to mother V daughter.
