Kim Kardashian at the airport

By now, we're used to seeing Kim Kardashian from every angle, as the self-professed 'queen of selfies' (she even dedicated a whole book to them, for goodness sake) snaps her her way through the day and posts the results to  Instagram. But last night the reality TV star shared something we hadn't seen before - and for once, she had good reason.

Kim took to Instagram to shut down rumours she has been using a surrogate during the pregnancy of her second child, after body shamers accused her of faking her burgeoning baby bump - calling it either, too big, or too small. And her quotes were pretty empowering.

In a lengthy caption accompanying the shot (in which Kim clearly felt to justify her shape - not something any pregnant women, or for that matter, any woman at all should have to do in our book) the reality starlet described how her body has changed since she announced her baby news.

Describing at as 'all a part of the process,' Kim wrote that 'everyone's body is different, every pregnancy is different,' and went on to say that she has 'learned to 'love my body at every stage'.

Here's her response, in full:

'First they say I'm too skinny so I have to be faking it...Now they say I'm too big so I have to be faking it...SMH! Some days I'm photographed before I eat & look smaller, some days I've just eaten & I look bigger. It's all a part of the process. I think you all know me well enough to know I would document the process if I got a surrogate. Everyone's body is different, every pregnancy is very different! I've learned to love my body at every stage! I'm going to get even bigger & that's beautiful too! I'm blessed to even be pregnant & even luckier to not have preeclampsia as far as I know, so I don't have the swelling issue this time! They also say your body carries a boy different than a girl! Whatever the case may be I'm grateful to God for this miracle & no matter what rumors or comments you throw my way this time they truly don't affect me! #NoFilter #NoPhotoShop #GoodLighting'.

Go Girl.

Last night the Internet was alight with comments on Kim's decision to post the pregnant pic - and the response was overwhelmingly positive.
