Is Miss Piggy Fighting For Her Frog?! Watch Her Cover Adele's 'Hello'

Kermit and Miss Piggy broke hearts around the world when they split earlier in 2015, but is this Adele cover about to bring them back together? Watch the video below…

The world was left in a state of shock earlier this year when one of Hollywood’s strongest couples decided to call it quits. After nearly forty years together, Kermit and Miss Piggy split, and we officially lost all faith in love.

But just when it looked like the Muppets had officially moved on (Kermit was spotted getting up close and personal with a new pig, Denise), Miss Piggy has hit back with an emotional rendition of Adele’s 'Hello'. Looks like she can’t let go of her Kermy… You can watch the heart-wrenching video below, which sees the couple recreate Adele’s record-breaking masterpiece.

Oh, Miss Piggy! We have to say, heartbreak becomes her. Miss Piggy is working the signature Adele style of toasty autumnal jumper and liquid eyeliner flick, while Kermit has actually put some clothes on (for once). And if you thought the flip-phone was old-school, Kermit takes Piggy’s call on a landline – if you even remember what that is.

In a statement on their social mediaat the time of their split (how very 2015…), both long-suffering Kermit and diva Miss Piggy released the following message: “After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, we have made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship. We will continue to work together on television and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe. However our personal lives are now distinct and separate, and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al. This is our only comment on this private matter… unless we get the right offer. Thank you for understanding”.

But after this video, which aired during the American Music Awards, could a reconciliation be on the cards? We guess we’ll have to watch the new Muppets TV show to find out…
