As someone who has grown up in the spotlight, it's not surprising that Kendall Jenner has had a less than conventional childhood and adolescence.
In fact, the 19-year-old model herself admitted that she thinks she didn't spend enough time being a kid.
Writing in the Wall Street Journal (yup, the model has landed herself a new gig as a columnist alongside starring in fashion shows), Kendall wrote: 'I feel like I grew up too fast a long time ago.'
'Having older siblings, your grown around adults, so you mature more quickly,' Kendall continued. 'I saw my sister and parents working every day, so I was pretty much brought up to be a workaholic.'
And we'd have to agree that Kendall is certainly hard working. She's definitely achieved more in her 19 years than we had at that time (unless watching entire series' of Deal or No Deal is counted as an achievement). In the past year, the model has modelled for the likes of Marc Jacobs, Chanel and Giles Deacon to name just a few, as well as bagging a couple of magazine covers along the way. That's not to mention the book she co-wrote with her sister, as well working the party circuit as hard as Kendall (because going to that many parties is all part of the job description).
But that's not to say the teen still can't act her age – or younger.
'My sister Khloé always says to me and my younger sister, Kylie: You have your whole life to be an adult but only so long to be a kid. And we get it. In the right situations, I try to be as immature as I can sometimes—react to things as if I were 12. You can’t take things too seriously.'
