Kendall Jenner Debuts The Coolest Coat Of The Season...

...and shows us the best way to wear it, no less

Kendall Jenner has been laying low over the past few weeks, and rightly so. After a mammoth Fashion Month where she clocked up more catwalk miles than any season before, we reckon she's earned herself a well deserved rest.

However, just because she's been shunning red carpet events and parties, it doesn't mean Kendall has stopped giving us our daily outfit inspro.

We clocked the 18-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashian's star running errands around New York City rocking a very cool, off-duty ensemble and we're totally going to add it to our own autumnal-dressing arsenal.

Now that the colder weather has reached the other side of the Atlantic, Kendall has done the smart thing and invested in a cosy coat to battle the brrr in style, and we reckon she's found the very coat that's going to go stellar this season.

The model looked effortlessly chic as she stepped out in her midi-length navy blue car coat complete with a co-ordinating sash tie waist, which she left undone. This coat shape has been on our radar since the start of the season but it's notoriously tricky to pull off without looking like you've left the house in your dressing gown. But, in ever-sleek navy, it's the ultimate cool-girl cover-up for AW14.

Styling her coat with a pair of leather panel trousers, pointed winkle-picker boots and a chunky grey knit, this has to be one of the best autumn-outfits we've seen this year. Nice work, Ken.

In fact, we love her look so much, we've re-created it down to a tee to kick-start our new-season wardrobe. Take a look at the affordable buys below that, when worn together, will give you Kendall's faultless fall style. You're welcome...

Navy Wool Coat, £165, & Other Stories
This stunning midi coat is so close to Kendall's, we almost thought it was an exact match. Upon closer inspection, however, we reckon it's a teeny bit cooler than her original version thanks to its unusual lapel collar.

Faux Leather Panel Trousers, £39.99, Zara
Full-on leather trousers can be tricky for most to pull off. The contrast fabric panelling on these skinny numbers are a great alternative for easing yourself into the trend while the clever seams will actually slim your pins in the process. Not bad, huh?

Oversized Grey Knit Jumper, £24.99, H&M
If there's one thing you need to buy for autumn, it's a marl jumper. From lace pencil skirts to your trusty boyfriend jeans (and your new navy coat, obvs), you'll find yourself wearing it at any given opportunity.

Patent Leather Ankle Boots, £69, Marks & Spencer
No fuss boots will take all the effort out of choosing your footwear as there's nothing they won't go with. We'll be opting for these patent numbers that give the minimal boot trend a subtle lift.

Silver Mirrored-Lens Sunglasses, £10, ASOS
Summer may be over but the low winter sun means you'll need to arm yourself with a pair of sunglasses at all times. These mirrored numbers will do nicely, thank you...
