Keira Knightley is set to make her West End debut this December as she embarks on a three month run of Molière's The Misanthrope at the Comedy theatre.
The production will see Keira playing an American film star who falls in love with the title character, the ‘Misanthrope', Alceste. Alceste's bitter and disillusioned ways are challenged as Jennifer (played by Keira) challenges his beliefs and desires.
Keira, whose past films include the highly acclaimed The Duchess, Atonement (pictured, bottom) and Pride and Prejudice is no stranger to a temptuous love affair or two on screen - and if her past performances are anything to go by we are in for a passionate treat.
