The kooky popstar is ultra-sexy for new cover shoot

Katy has slipped out of her PVC minis and into an even skimpier array of outfits for the August cover of Esquire magazine.

Normally a fan of all things bright and bold, the California Gurls singer has gone gothic for the men's mag shots, photographed by Ysu Tsai.

She wears nothing but a a corset belt, meshed hotpants and some killer platforms in most of the shots, and then changes into a raunchy leather catsuit.

Her vampy pointed nails, loose raven locks and crucifix jewellery complete the look.

In her interview she was ready to bare even more, revealing the details of fiancé Russell Brand’s elaborate proposal, which took place in India and featured fireworks, roses and even an elephant:

'He had a little turban on and we got into a horse and carriage which took us to this tent made out of tens of thousands of roses.'

She also admitted that she thinks they make a good match as they're 'both larger than life. ‘We're kind of cartoony.'

Full interview appears in the August issue of Esquire, on sale now
