Breaking her radio silence, Kate Moss reads E L James’ novel, Fifty Shades of Grey to raise money for Comic Relief.
Kate Moss joined her showbiz pal, Nick Grimshaw yesterday on the Radio 1 breakfast show to give a rather sultry reading of E L James’ best selling novel, Fifty Shades of Grey.
The Croydon born supermodel is known for her lack of interviews and her attempts to stay silent but she broke her normal shyness in aid of Comic Relief after donations reached £200,000.
Joining Nick Grimshaw in the Radio 1 studio she read an extract of the best selling novel set over exaggerated romantic and sultry music to add to the mood.
Encouraging the self confessed “nervous” Kate was director Richard Curtis, singer Connor Maynard and long-standing Comic Relief veteran Lenny Henry.
This is not the first time that Kate has lent a helping hand to the cause. In 2011 she performed in a comedy sketch with Misery Bear and who can forget her performance as Vicky Pollard’s sister in the Little Britain sketch in 2007!
