Kate Moss: If I Wasn't A Model, I'd Be Working In A Bar

The supermodel reveals what her life could have been like if she hadn't be discovered as a model

Kate Moss has revealed that she would most likely be a barmaid still living in Croydon, if she hadn't become a model.

Speaking to Tom Jones (yes, that Tom Jones) in an interview that accompanies her Playboy shoot, Kate said 'I don’t know what would have happened to me. I would be in Croydon, working in a bar, probably.'

'I wanted to be at the centre of things' Kate said. 'I love working with creative people, and there was none of that where I came from. As soon as I was given a chance, I took it.'

And if anyone needed proof that Mossy has made the most of the opportunity afforded to her 25 years ago, last night's British Fashion Awards would certainly be it. The supermodel was the recipient of the coveted, and much deserved, Special Recognition award for her achievements in fashion so far.

As Kate spproaches her 40th birthday, Tom Jones asked the model: 'What do you want out of life at this point?'

'I just want to carry on being inspired, to work and to always find new things. I think that’s it, isn’t it? That’s all I want...to never get, like, “I’m bored.” I don’t do boredom.'

If yesterday's jam packed schedule was anything to go by - Kate followed a Playboy magazine signing with the British Fashion Awards, before heading out to the Playboy 60th anniversay knees up - we're sure she'll always be able to keep herself busy.
