Kate Moss ditched her trusty black skinnies yesterday for something far more evening appropriate, as she played host at a Mardi Gras-themed fashion party at Loulou's in London last night.
In the most glamourous look we've seen the 40-year-old super in for quite some time, Mossy stepped out in a figure-hugging, full-length black sequinned dress which she wore with a sumptuous teal wrap to keep out the cold.
With her blonde locks piled up in an elaborate updo, a generous sweep of shimmery gold eyeshadow and a slick of bright red lipstick, there was no question as to who the party queen crown belonged to.
Held to celebrate the new issue of AnOther Magazine, which is edited by her ex-boyfriend and father of her daughter, Jefferson Hack, Kate was joined by the great and the good of the fash pack, with guests including Alexa Chung, Derek Blasberg, Suzy Menkes and Gareth Pugh.
All of whom looked to be having a riotous time, which is no wonder considering the cocktail of the evening – the Absolut Moss – had been designed by Ms Moss herself.
A twist on one of Kate's favourite tipples, the classic Freech '76, the cocktail combined Absolut Elyx vodka, St. Germain, lemon juice, Peychaud’s bitters, topped with champagne.
So if you want a taste of the party at home, now you know how…
