The ring, which once belonged to Diana, has been valued at ten times more than it was in1981

Kate Middleton's engagement ring is now worth a whopping £300,000 – ten times the amount it was valued at in 1981, when Prince Charles bought it for Princess Diana.

Comprised of 14 solitaire diamonds that surround a 12-carat blue Ceylon sapphire, the inherited ring is definitely one of the most famous in the world.

Meanwhile, the Queen's ring is valued at £100,00 – worth just a third of Kate's.

But the royal sparklers are worth little compared to Beyonce and Kim Kardashian's rings, which are valued at a jaw-dropping £5.8 million and 5.15 million respectively.
