Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton wore a MaxMara coat in Portsmouth today

Kate Middleton showed off her artistic skills – as well as growing baby bump – on a day out in Portsmouth today.

Dressing for the chilly coastal weather, the expectant mother wrapped up in a dazzling white coat by MaxMara Studio, which she cinched with a slim belt above her bump.

And being the sartorial sleuths that we are, we found out that said coat is in the sale with a few sizes still available…

It might not have been the ideal outfit for painting a mural, but the Duchess was careful not to ruin her coat as she helped put the finishing touches on a painting at the home of Ben Ainslie Racing which she was visiting in her role as royal patron of the 1851 trust – an organisation which aims to inspire a new generation through sailing and the marine industry and provide them with the education, skills and training to become innovators of the future and stewards of the marine environment.

Once inside, Kate removed her coat to reveal a short-sleeved polka dot dress, which she teamed with a pair of midnight blue heels and matching clutch. And like her sister Pippa, the 33-year-old was sporting a healthy glow thanks to the family holiday to Mustique she and the rest of the Middletons (as well as Prince William and George) have just returned from.
