Kate Middleton will be a natural mother, says Mike Tindall

Kate Middleton and Prince William will make ‘great parents’ according to Zara Phillips’ husband Mike Tindall.

Speaking to Press at the Rugby for Heroes event, Mike Tindall said he is ‘so happy’ for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who he thinks will make fantastic parents.

The ex-England rugby captain said: "Willy, sorry Prince William, will be outstanding while Kate is a natural mother. It’s great for them. The whole family is really excited about the baby. I’m so happy for those two. They’ll be great parents.”

Having been married to the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Phillips for almost two years, the sports star said that the royal baby has not made him think about starting a family just yet. He said “Having kids is something we want, but it’s finding that window and we haven’t quite found it yet. It’s difficult.”

With Kate Middleton’s due date getting nearer, Prince William was practicing his parenting skills as he opened the Help for Heroes recovery centre with Prince Harry. The Duchess of Cambridge has kept a low profile over the last few weeks, however she has been spotted shopping for home décor in London as she prepares her two homes – one in Kensington Place and another on the Queen’s Sandringham estate.
