For a visit to the National Portrait Gallery, the Duchess chose to wear an eye-popping green coat dress by one of her favourite designers, Catherine Walker. And, of course, Kate accessorised with her much-loved L. K. Bennet courts and voluminous blow dry.
This is the second Catherine Walker coat Kate has worn on tour – the first being a red one in New Zealand.
And it's also the second bright green coat the Duchess has stepped out in, despite the fact that Prince William told a member of the public he thought her emerald Erdem number was 'too bright.' But what does he know, right?
This evening, Kate and Wills will attend their most formal evening of the three-week tour, and so we're expecting the Duchess to pull out something spectacular from her suitcase.
And when she does, we'll have the pictures to show you...
