Since being crowned the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has shown no shortage of enthusiasm for getting her hands dirty in the name of a royal visit, and her next engagement will see her try out everything from tree climbing to fire lighting.
Already a private volunteer with a Scout group near her home in Anglesey, this weekend, Kate is set to head out to the Lake District for a more public event for the organisation.
The Duchess, who is nearly six months pregnant, will join a group of adult volunteers on a training day in the National Park to help 24 scouts enjoy a day of outdoor adventures.
The trip will mark the end of a seriously busy week for Ms Middleton who has already ventured out to the St Patrick's Day parade, joined the Queen on an outing to mark the 150th anniversary of the London Underground and headed to a centre in Buckinghamshire to meet bereaved families.
