In what will be a break with royal tradition, but Kate Middleton has reportedly told friends that she will be staying with her parents for at least the first six weeks after giving birth. 

Following the July birth, it is said that she will not be employing a maternity nurse, and the much-anticipated baby will instead be seeing the world for the first time in the Middleton family’s home.

Kate Middleton’s parents, Carole and Michael, recently invested in a Georgian style manor in the county of Berkshire, where there will be plenty of space for the newborn, who will be third in line to the throne.

The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to give birth in the private Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital Paddington, where husband Prince William was also born.  As summer approaches, we have to admit that we can’t wait to hear the pitter-patter of tiny royal feet!
